Polperro is nestled among the vines and shaded by ancient Angophora trees on a stunning 25 acre property in the heart of the famous wine region Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula.
Our aim is to create a synergy between the vineyard and kitchen, and incorporate the seasonal harvests from the estate into the constantly evolving bistro plates. We are committed to an ethos that promotes a relationship between the landscape, the people and the produce. Our approach will be to offer fresh, textural & seasonal flavours with an emphasis on where the food comes from and how it is grown. A collaboration between winemaker and chef ensures a new generation of food & wine offerings.
There is a strong focus towards casual dining and drinking with service that is both informed and personable. Read the reviews. Please also take a look at our current menu, upcoming events and winelist. For a unique dining experience, we also offer Polperro Picnics as well as a small and intimate dining space in the Cellar Door.

"Polperro casts its spell on you the moment you arrive. Linger over a cocktail on the deck, then head to the... Hecker Guthrie- designed dining room, all leather-cushioned benches and bentwoods draped in Mongolian-sheep wool. The deeply enjoyable menu begins with house-made bread and Shoreham olive-oil, followed, perhaps by some lush wagyu breasola and truffled cauliflower puree and then, for the main attraction, aged ox roasted over wood and seasoned with cheddar and mustard. Produce from the kitchen garden and regional growers dominates, as seen in a late-summer mess of local raspberries and chocolate mousse."
