2020 Vintage Overview /
“A cool and wet spring and early summer across the region generally led to patchy fruit set and and an extremely low-cropping year.
One upside of that rainfall for our region compared to other regions is it helped to disperse the lingering bush fire smoke that plagued the rest of the country, incredibly lucky for our region albeit a little unfair. The chardonnay produced was excellent both pure and aromatic, while the Pinot Noirs were acid driven, structured and beautifully aromatic. Hold onto your hats, these wines from a much maligned vintage have plenty to offer.”
