Celebrating the elements with Latta Vino


Rustic and raw, the elements inspire us… Join us for an evening celebrating fire, air, water, and earth.

To inform his specially crafted three course menu Chef Michael Demagistris, is driven by the four elements. Labouring over the open fire with specialty wood, to cook and smoke, sourcing the finest produce from pure waters, rich soils and pristine environments. The menu will reflect the land and journey to plate.

Alongside the rich theme of elemental forces, we are pleased to welcome a dynamic guest winemaker, Owen Latta of Latta Vino, to bring this event to life. Winemaker Sam Coverdale, a keen supporter of Latta –is excited to share Owen’s rustic wines, with a philosophy akin to his own Polperro and Even Keel labels.

⁠⁠Owen Latta created his first vintage with encouragement of his father at their family vineyard at the age of 15 – it’s almost unbelievable that at 34, he’s already been making wine for 19 years!  The Latta Vino wines are experimental, the fruit is all sustainably grown, and the wine is made with no additions.

⁠⁠This year, Owen was named Gourmet Traveller Wine’s Young Winemaker of the Year - labelled as "one of Australia’s most thoughtful and daring winemakers.”
