We knew this vintage was a good one and one of the better ones Sam has experienced on the Mornington Peninsula. We are thrilled to have received 98 points for our 2021 Polperro ‘Little Laney’ Pinot Noir, by the @therealrvw and Huon Hooke, making it the highest ranked 2021 Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir.

2021 Vintage Overview /
“2021 vintage was a great year, one of the better years i’ve had the pleasure of winemaking in my years based on the Mornington Peninsula. Everything aligned. We had a very wet winter with great soil moisture, a cool wet spring, which had its challenges with disease pressure, however, provided you did the work and kept the canopies open, bunch zones exposed to good airflow and sunlight, the fruit set was ultimately very balanced.
Post-Christmas it begun to dry out, with temperatures remaining cool, allowed for an extended ripening period, which resulted in great flavour development and good acids. Everything in perfect harmony”.
