TASTING
To the nose it’s lifted and bouncing with ruby grapefruit, rosewater, cranberries, strawberries, apricot, red currant and marmalade complexity. The palate shows watermelon, strawberries & cream, and fresh apricot. It’s mineral and refreshing, textural and balanced with good fruit intensity. A delicious drink for the summer!
WINEMAKING
They are picked as a field blend and co-fermented in large 3000L wooden foudre. Bottled with minimal filtration in early spring of the same year.
VINEYARD
Sourced from our new vineyard in Stanleys Road Merricks. The vines are planted on west facing slope and are a blend of Zweigelt, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Shiraz, Viognier and Chenin Blanc.
VITICULTURE
We purchase our fruit from the vineyards, in partnership with growers, however, we do use our own fruit from young vines. We grow, make and farm our vineyards using a philosophy of sustainability and regenerative agriculture, applying a mix of biological, bio-dynamic and organic practices.
