Account Management
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including any passwords or sensitive information attached to that account.
- All personal information you provide to us through your account is up-to-date, accurate, and truthful, and you will update your information as required.
- You must ‘opt-in’ and provide valid credit card information for online purchases and for your subscription as a Polperro Wine Club member.

All information, descriptions, and images provided about our goods and services are as accurate as possible. You agree to purchase goods and services from our Site at your own risk.
Wines purchased from Polperro are not for resale and are for personal consumption only.
Wine Club Membership & Subscription
Polperro Wine Club memberships are ongoing until cancelled by either the member or Polperro.
- Members may terminate their membership at any time after 12 months, or a minimum purchase of two dozen wines.
- Members can cancel their membership by notifying Polperro by phone, email, or by visiting the Cellar Door in person.
- Members must cancel before the processing and dispatch of their upcoming delivery (as notified by Polperro Wine Club).
- Members are liable to pay for any wine packs already dispatched prior to the membership change or cancellation request.
- No joining or annual fees apply to Wine Club membership.
Polperro reserves the right to:
- Restrict the Wine Club discount on select products or events.
- Grant, refuse, or cancel memberships.
- Amend product pricing.
- Vary terms and conditions of membership. Members will be notified directly via the email provided in their account of any changes.
Age Requirements
You must be 18 years of age or older to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Polperro, in accordance with the Victorian Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
Returns and Cancellations
We will replace or refund any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed, or unsatisfactory. Customers may be asked to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement.
By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is damaged or flawed. We cannot accept returns for:
- Wine damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment.
- Wine ordered in error.

- Once the wine is received, we will refund your credit card for the cost of the wine, less shipping and handling.
- If the original shipment was damaged or flawed, you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these terms and conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies.
These terms will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of such legislation. If a conflict arises between these terms and the legislation, the mandatory provisions will apply.
Limitation of Liability
Polperro and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Polperro and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from your use of our Site or your violation of these terms.
Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, that provision will be deemed void and removed. All other provisions will remain valid and enforceable.
Using Our Site
Your use of this website, and any disputes arising from such use, are subject to the laws of Australia.
